No HPT's test for HCG which isn't in BC. The only things that affect a test are fertility shots including HCG. If you got a positive you are pregnant and need to stop BC and see a Dr.Can birth Control make it so it shows a positive on the HPT?
i dont think you can get a positive without it being positive. Those tests are pretty accurate and your body has to be carrying the HCG hormone for the positive to appear, and your body will only have it when your prego. I would see a doctor or make a call to him at least. Good LUck!

the only way it could show positive is if you are taking some kind of drug to HELP you get pregnant not to prevent it. it looks like you are pregnant
no, birth control doesn't effect a pregnancy test at all. and birth control takes about a month to work effectively anyway. you should have used another form of protection until the birth control started working.
