How long after getting off birth control does it take to get pregnant?

Doctors will tell you it depends on the person. And it does. Some people's bodies take longer to get back to normal.

However, the fastest possibility is as soon as you get to your first unmedicated cycle. With the pills, the next month. Trust me! I have a 2 year old! :-)

But some people can take a long time for their bodies to return to normal. It can take up to 6 months or even a year. How long after getting off birth control does it take to get pregnant?
The truth is, every one is diffrent. It is very possible to skip 1 pill and get pregnant, or stop using your patch for 1 week and get pregnant. Every bodys body is diffrent. If you just got off your birth control and are wanting to try to concieve i see nothing wrong with that. How long after getting off birth control does it take to get pregnant?
Everyone is different. I got pregnant the next month...for my friend it was 3 months. It could even take longer. If you are trying to get pregnant, just follow your ovulation days. You usually ovulate 14 days after the first day of your period. For example if you start your period may 1, then you would probably ovulate on the 14th. It all depends on your cycle.
You can still get pregnant while on Birth Control., so it depends on your individual body chemistry. I was conceived with my mother on birth control and my father using a condom.
I'm not sure how long it takes, but my doctor told me I shouldn't get pregnant for six months after getting off the pill because of residual effects on the baby from having the hormones in my system.
it depends on how long you were on it. it it was still new, you should return to normal quickly. if you have been on it for years, it may take a few months to get your cycle back to normal
It all depends....you can get pregnant if you miss some pills WHILE YOU ARE ON birth control, so it could be right away.
The birth control pills are nothing but synthetic progestren, which is the female hormone that tells the body that it is pregnant and stops ovulation. You take the pill everyday at the same time in order to keep a constant level of the hormone in the bloodstream. Even if you miss one pill you can ovulate. As soon as you stop taking the pills, your body will release an egg and begin the menstruation cycle which usually lasts about 25-28 days. If you are trying to become pregnant, you could try an ovulation test kit you can purchase at any drug store. It helps to determine exactly when you are ovulating, because there is only a three day window each month in which you can get pregnant.
THE DOCTORS TELL YOU NOT TO MISS IF YOU DO TAKE IT AS SOON AS YOU REMEMBER. I GOT PREGNANT AFTER THREE DAYS BEING OFF OF IT
if it is the pill- the next day

the shot-2 weeks

anyother? just i/m me:)
I would say it depends on the person. I personally stoppped taking birth control in the month of august and i was pregnant by november. So it probably depends on how long you took birth control and if you were taking it regulary and on time. There can be many factors to determine the time frame. Good luck.
