What is existential insecurity and how can I use it to control the populace?

Let's see... my take on existential insecurity is that it is the insecurity the common masses feel due to lack of knowledge about their purpose on Earth. Most people crave a purpose - many practice religion in search of their purpose through God, many join cults or social groups that provide them a purpose, some join gangs.

Given this existential insecurity and a desire for purpose, the masses of people are subject to control by someone who can give them purpose - be it for purposes of good or evil.

Hitler harnessed this power in his rise to power, as did Napolean and Mussolini and most of the world dictators. They recognized when existential insecurity reached its highest point the masses were subject to easier control.

Thus, if you can harness our insecurity over our purpose in life and provide that purpose, you, too, can become the next world dictator! What is existential insecurity and how can I use it to control the populace?
It's in the daily news! Simply pound a message of FUD (fear, uncertainty and doubt) with resonant repetition and high volume thru all available media, declaring that nothing of ultimate importance is safe, unless all oversight and control is granted to you, the beneficent, magnanimous, sole source of power and wisdom. What is existential insecurity and how can I use it to control the populace?
Existentialism is the philosophical position put forward by Soren Kierkegaard, Danish philosopher and theologian born May 5, 1813. One of his central ideas was ';subjectivity is truth'; (Which you will find in his book, ';Concluding Unscientific Postscript.';)

It means that what you believe to be true IS The Truth for you, and because what you believe is true, you ACT as if it's true.

In being translated to psychology (in large part by Dr. Alfred Adler, founder of Individual Psychology) it led to subjectivism and phenomenology (that people see things personally rather than objectively) and to the need for personal meaning in life.

Thus: ';Existential insecurity'; means NOT having a sense of one's personal meaning in life. ';I'm here in this world, but I have no idea why!'; We each desperately want to know why: why we are here, why we behave as we do, feel as we do, relate to others as we do.

There is, as you can probably already guess, NO WAY you can use this to ';control the populace.'; Nice try tho...
