Im just wondering because i have old stuff thats too wide so it looks floppy and if i get new stuff i dont want to accidentally not compensate for shrinkage %26gt;.%26gt; lol
I mean just for shirts and jeans.
thanksDo clothes shrink more width or length wise? and can i control it to be only width?
Clothes shrink much more in length than width. Often pants will shrink over an inch in length and not at all in width. You would have to have your old things altered by a seamstress to make them fit better in width but if new things fit you in width, then only allow for shrinkage in the length.
If you want clothing to shrink in the wash, then use very hot water and set the dryer on high heat to shrink them.
